Guy King is leading a few different projects and can be seen and heard at these settings:
The Guy King Band:
The Guy King Band is a Blues band that draws its influences from different eras and areas of the blues. It is a soulful and unique blend of gutbucket blues with the “uptown” soul and jazz styles.
In attending one of their live shows, you would hear the band perform their versions of songs by some of their influences, such as: Ray Charles, B.B. King, T-Bone Walker, Robert Johnson, Percy Mayfield, Albert King, Albert Collins, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, Muddy Waters and many more, as well as their original songs.
The band is getting rave reviews following their debut album “LIVIN’ IT” from publications and radio stations around the world (see: press/radio page).

The Guy King Organ Trio:
In the great tradition of the Organ Trio sound, but with the added value of Vocals on the set as well, the Guy King Organ Trio plays Jazz and Soul, Standards as well as originals, and as always when it comes to a Guy King set: the BLUES.
Material and influences varies on this set and includes: Wes Montgomery, Jimmy McGriff, Nat “King” Cole, Ray Charles, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and more.
